More Than a Studio: Our Creative Community

3 Cups Ceramics was born from a simple love for clay and a desire to build a creative hub in Austin. Founded in 2025, our studio has grown from a small shared space into a vibrant community where artists of all levels can learn, grow, and create together. We believe in the power of making things with your hands and the connections that are forged around the pottery wheel.

Our Studio Amenities

For our members and students, we provide a fully-equipped professional environment:

• Pottery Wheels: 12+ Brent wheels for throwing.
• Kilns: Multiple large Skutt electric kilns for bisque and glaze firing.
• Hand-Building Area: Spacious tables with ample room for sculpting.
• Glaze Room: A wide array of studio glazes and mixing equipment.
• Tools & Materials: Community tools, clay recycling, and sold clay (Kentucky Mudworks).
• Member Storage: Dedicated shelving for ongoing projects.
